Miel is a Nashville based farm to table restaurant with a French bistro inspired menu. I created the logo mark and bicycle illustration based on a conversation I had with the owner where she told a story about their opening in 2008. Since this was a financially challenging time for many families the owner said that people would bike to the restaurant instead of drive. She described how their patio would have bikes piled on top of each other as people inside enjoyed a delicious meal.
